For people like me, who are so outward oriented and engrossed in this world, it is difficult to follow the teachings of Gurbani. All of the teachings require us to turn inward and search for the treasure there. But we have been searching for the treasure outside for lifetimes. The momentum is so high that it is difficult to stop and turn the direction in the opposite direction.
But what is the way out?
No other way. Let’s just keep trying with diligence. The fortunate day will come someday.
