A short course on

The Law of Karma

Target Audience

People who sense that something is fundamentally wrong with the existing way of living — but don’t yet have an alternative framework. They are tired of quick fixes and empty promises. They want something real.

More specifically, they may be:

  • Spiritual seekers who sense karma is real but can’t accept the simplistic or punitive version they’ve been handed
  • People who find the materialistic worldview hollow and are actively looking for meaning
  • People who have been living by moral principles but have grown tired or resentful
  • People tired of quick fixes — who have tried that route and found it empty
  • People who want a framework that goes beyond mystical or faith-based ideas — something grounded, practical, and applicable to everyday life and everyday decisions

What they have in common: they want to understand the law of karma not as abstract philosophy, but as a principle that changes how they actually live.

Not suitable for:

  • Those looking for quick fixes — to wealth, relationships, or anything else
  • Those seeking scholarly study of Gurbani or Sikhism as a religion
  • Those who are closed to spiritual ideas — this course does not argue for belief in karma; it speaks to those already open

Intended Deliverable

A more joyful, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

How?

Through a correct, deeper, and practical understanding of a law that all four major Indian religions (Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism) talk about.

If a single law governs our lives, wouldn’t it be helpful to understand it and then use that understanding to our advantage?

The course consists of 10 live sessions, covering the following areas:

  1. What is the Law of Karma? Beyond the punitive and mechanical versions
  2. Understanding the Law of Karma from multiple angles
  3. The common reasons and ways we deny the existence of the law of karma
  4. Common misunderstandings or misuses of the law of karma
  5. How to use the law of karma to guide our everyday actions

Throughout the course, the participants are welcome to raise all kinds of doubts; the intent is to have open, wholehearted, and honest conversations.

About the speaker

Chiranjeev Singh (CJ) is a seeker who has long sought to understand Gurbani and spiritual messages because he sensed meaning and joy there. It is in his pursuit of “sukh” that he has tried to decode what Gurbani is saying.

He feels that by sharing the spiritual ideas, he can add the most value to others. And in adding value, he finds meaning.

CJ is a graduate of IIM Ahmedabad and has scored in the 99.9th percentile on the CAT, GMAT, and GRE.
