Emptiness in “I believe in God”

We all believe in God. But we don’t know what believing in God means.

A man who utters “I love you!” day and night but does not love his wife; his wife can recognize the emptiness of his words.

But alas, the words “I believe in God” have become so universally empty that their emptiness cannot be recognized now.
